TMS talent are working with travel company who have seen substantial growth over the past few years and are seeking to continue the expansion of their network of clients. They want to appoint a Business Development Manager, with a proven record of sales, who can help drive growth through the creation of new business opportunities. The company believe in a personalised approach to business travel and are seeking a BDM, who can create a unique relationship with each client.
The successful Business Development Manager will have previous experience of securing new business for a TMC. The role will involve engaging in the full sales cycle, from lead generation,identifying client requirements, meeting clients, pitching and closing and maintaining client relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with a passion for travel and Sales to work at a forward-thinking company whose people and clients are at the forefront of all they do!
Cold calling key decision makers
Account Managing existing accounts through regular contact
Conducting client visits and pitching for business
Representing the company and developing connections at networking events
Continual updating of Linkedin contacts
Re-winning defected accounts alongside the account management team
Previous BDM experience at a TMC
Proven track record of sales- ability to meet/exceed targets
Determined, tenacious in approach and self-motivated
Strong industry knowledge- keeping abreast of key changes/developments
Good communication skills and an ability to engage others
Up to £45,000 salary (+ car allowance and commission)
