Business Development Manager

North London

To £33,000 + Commission

My client is a niche travel business who operate charity treks, bike rides, mountain climbs, skydives and adventure travel itineraries.

They are now recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their team to focus on developing new business focusing on corporate clients, charities etc

The role is predominately office based so candidates must ideally have a reasonable commute to North London.

This is a rarely available role to join a company who provide a rewarding and supportive working environment within their close knit team.

The Business Development Manager must have previously B2B sales experience developing new business and come from a travel, event management or charity background.


Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
Identifying and winning potential new business opportunities by contacting prospective corporate and charity clients and identifying potential new markets.
Plan approaches and pitch documents and presentations aligning with the company brand
Ensure all sales leads, referrals and all pitches and tenders are followed up in a timely manner.
Build the sales pipeline and gathering potential new business opportunities by analysing market strategies
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and sales channels that will lead to an increase in business

Business Development Manager Skills Required:
Strong previous experience in business development ideally in the adventure travel, event management or third sector.
Previous B2B sales experience
Proven track record in new business development working to sales targets.
Previous experience of increasing revenue through the generation of leads
Possess a flair for business, have excellent relationship building skills and a warm personality, and be commercially aware.

Business Development Manager Salary and Benefits:
Base salary to £33K + commission
Mon - Fri 09.00 - 17.30
32 days annual leave including bank
