Role: Flights & Ticketing Executive 

Location: Manchester

Salary: £20K-£25k + Bonuses

As such, we are looking for very best talent to help scale the business and require people with natural ambition, a positive mind-set and the ability to use analysis of data to drive insight and value and who possess a high level of people and relationship skills.

 

Fantastic Opportunity for a Flights and Ticket specialsit to get on board with a great Travel Management company to really utilise multi skilled abilties to develop and support a team of Ticketing Specilaist.

 

  • Assisting Travel Counsellors to navigate around and understand our in-house booking system – being aware of common errors
  • Putting together complex itineraries using manual contracts where required
  • Booking BA groups using BA dropthrough
  • Providing assistance with Galileo entries
  • Giving fare rules advice
  • Advising Travel Counsellors of airline schedule changes
  • Ensuring published and consolidated tickets are issued accurately and efficiently
  • Amending and recalculating voluntary changes according to fare rules
  • Reissuing tickets in the case of voluntary changes
  • Building and issuing tickets on group bookings
  • Queue management – understanding ticketing time limits & reading vendor remarks

 

Skills Required

  • Experience within a tour operator/travel agency with in depth knowledge of fares and ticketing using published and net fare contracts
  • Experience of making and amending airline reservations
  • Strong GDS knowledge (preferably Galileo)
  • Qualification to a minimum of BA level 1 fares & ticketing or equivalent
  • Ability to multi task
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Patience and willingness to help others
  • Able to work as part of a team but also comfortable working alone
  • Good problem solver and ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility towards working hours

 

Salary £20k-£25k + Bonuses

Shift hours across a 7 day working week ( 5 days maximum per week)
