Head of Travel Sales– Latin America
Base Salary £37.5K + Comm OTE £65-70K +
My client is a high-end luxury travel company based in Central London.
They are known for offering bespoke holidays to an upmarket clientele and whilst delivering the highest levels of customer service ensuring repeat business.
Due to growth, they are now seeking a Head of Travel Sales to focus managing a team of travel sales consultant who are selling the Latin America region.
For candidates to be considered, previous management experience within the travel industry is essential as well as specialist knowledge of bespoke holidays within the region.
Candidates who are at Senior Travel Consultant/Team leader level with strong product knowledge of Latin America will also be considered.
The offices are very desirable, and the working environment focuses on strong ethics including teamwork.
Head of Travel Sales – Latin America Responsibilities:
Inspire high performance in sales by leading with a clear vision aligned to the company and leveraging individual strengths within your team.
Develop, execute and evaluate team strategy are in line with company goals.
Work with Head of Sales Operations to analyse data and identify opportunities for growth and improved efficiency/productivity.
Effectively manage the team and assist with day-to-day sales, as you see fit.
Cultivate strong communication and connections with other teams and partners to ensure a collaborative workflow and exceptional client service.
Coordinate and/or facilitate the following activities within your team:
1-1’s, quarterly reflections and goal-setting, annual best-self reviews.
Provide effective formative feedback to ensure continuous improvement .
Regular training sessions on product from suppliers and within the team.
Reviewing and updating product on our website to ensure the best service and choice for our clients.
Working with the Content team to design sample itineraries for the website, and ensure online information is up-to-date and relevant.
Head of Travel Sales – Latin America Previous Experience Required:
Previous man management experience gained within the travel industry
Product experience/knowledge of the Latin America region
Driven by high expectations for client care and thoughtful touches.
Proven relationship-management skills.
Strong experience in client-facing, service-oriented roles.

Base salary to £37,500 + Commission OTE £65-70K +
23 days holiday allowance
