Sales and Marketing Director

Location: Central London

TMS Talent is working with a luxury Hotel in Central London. Though part of a wider body of Hotels, this Hotel has a unique design concept and a personalised approach to the guest experience; well-being and rejuvenation are key!

The successful Sales and Marketing Director will be somebody who can demonstrate a proven record of Sales and Marketing achievements. Understanding of Hotels is essential, the right applicant for this role will be somebody who comes from a Hotel background (preferably 4 or 5* Hotel experience). This is a fantastic opportunity to drive the direction of the Sales and marketing strategy for a lovely hotel.

Role Responsibilities:

Marketing:

To be directly responsible for the life cycle of marketing processes, updating the calendar continuously

To lead on marketing initiatives and communicate these to different departments across the hotel

To evaluate the effectiveness of marketing projects against objectives

To promote the hotel through advertising and events whilst adhering to company policies and budget constraints

Ensuring that marketing strategy is in line with the company brand- promotion of brand wherever possible

To ensure marketing budget is adhered to and that outcome of projects justifies expenditure

To ensure that room/banquet spaces are being effectively marketed

Sales:

To implement Sales strategies and evaluate the effectiveness against projected revenue targets

To be aware of the wider implications of industry/political changes for the hotel

To coordinate with key staff to align the approach to revenue growth through weekly meetings

To be involved with the hiring of Revenue generation personnel
