Sales Manager Position

The Sales Manager position is Field Sales based, so the successful candidate will need to have their own car. Much of the work will involve visiting existing clients and developing relationships with new clients. The right candidate will be an experienced Sales Manager who has previous experience of doing the role for hotels.  This is an essential requirement.

 Sales Manager Responsibilities:

To identify new business leads through cold-calling and to successfully convert enquiries into sales (up-selling where possible)

To meet agreed revenue targets

To grow revenue stream with existing accounts through maintaining regular contact

To maximise business opportunities by representing the hotel at any relevant trade/networking events
To manage existing accounts effectively to ensure repeat business

To maintain an awareness of changing competitor trends

To conduct show-arounds and fam group visits

To keep accurate records of client contacts

To provide weekly reporting on Sales activity using the hotel system


Sales Manager Experience:

Minimally three years of experience in a similar Sales Manager role (Hotel experience is essential)

Must have a background in “Meetings and Events”/Incentives

Must have clear communication skills; strong verbal and written English

Experience of Opera or Sales Force is preferred

Must drive and have own car
