Travel Customer Relations Executive

Essex/East London

£22,000 + Exceptional Benefits

My client is highly regarded tour operator who sell their product range through their network of trusted travel trade partners

They pride themselves on offering the best services to independent travel agents who need  their product expertise to help them create high-quality tailor-made travel arrangements for their customers the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

They now have an opportunity for a Customer Relations Executive to join their busy customer services team.

Candidates must have experience in the travel industry in a similar role or perhaps be working in a sales role within travel and are looking to move into a customer relations role.

This is a Monday to Friday role

Travel Customer Relations Executive Duties and Responsibilities:

To manage the resolution of customer complaints, within given timescales and be the first point of contact for all customer related issues

Resolve product or service problems by determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.

To be an effective communicator and ensure all complaints are acknowledged in a timely manner and customers are kept information throughout the complaint process, maximising customer satisfaction and ensuring full communication at all times.

Travel Customer Relations Executive Experienced Required:

Experience in a similar Customer Relations role within the travel industry

Trained to a high IT standard including Word and Excel 

Able to work under pressure

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Able to multitask including the ability to manage a busy mailbox 

Travel Customer Relations Executive Salary and Benefits:

Base salary to £22,000 per annum depending on previous experience 

28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 33 days for long service
