Travel Sales Consultants – Long Haul Travel

£21,000 + Commission OTE £35K +

Kent/South East London

My client, a leading long haul tour operator is seeking to appoint Travel Sales Consultants to join their team based in their office in Kent/South East London.

Due to record 2019 to date in sales and new product development, they are now expanding hence the creation of the new opportunities within the company.

The Travel Sales Consultants respond to calls from direct customers and travel agents in respect of their holiday requirements.  Using knowledge, experience, passion for travel and great sales drive, they meet booking needs, demonstrate great customer service and enhance the passenger travel experience.

Travel Sales Consultants Duties and Responsibilities:

Answer calls professionally and promptly, providing customers with appropriate product and service information, to ensure we are the customer or agent choice

Build customer interest in the services and products offered by the brands, through knowledge and experience

Provide personalised customer service of the highest level, enhancing the image of the Company

Where necessary, research relevant information using available resources

Handle and resolve customer complaints in a positive and timely manner

Ensure a proactive approach with customers through follow up calls

Embrace continuous learning through personal actions and through regular participation in training events

Travel Sales Consultants Homeworking Qualifications and experience required:

Proven travel sales experience and an excellent sales record working with long haul destinations

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact and influence effectively

Must be able to demonstrate a real customer focus, strong people skills and an ability to quickly interpret and understand the needs of the customer

Attention to detail and the desire to present good quality outputs, both written and spoken

Highly organised, self- sufficient and able to prioritise effectively

Travel Sales Consultants Homeworking Salary and Benefits:

Base salary to £21,000

Uncapped commission structure

22 days holidays rising to 25 days

Pension scheme

Travel concessions
